And we\u2019re off! Cycling onto a ferry is always exciting, heralding the start of a new adventure. This one\u2019s possibly a little foolhardy – cycling 800 miles from St Malo to Montpellier. Hmm\u2026<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve generously given ourselves over three weeks to complete this trip, so there\u2019s plenty of time for being tourists and enjoying as many patisseries and boulangeries as we can find. Neither of us has managed even a half-decent training program in readiness for so much time in the saddle, so I guess we\u2019ll just have to stop whenever we find a nice bar or caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n
